If you are a skilled Migrant who wants to work and live in Australia you may be eligible to apply for a GSM visa.
The General Skilled Migration Program or “GSM” is design to attract skilled applicants that can successfully complete the requirements for a visa of a skilled subclass:
Subclass 189 visa “Skilled Independent”
This is a permanent visa that does not require sponsorship from an employer or a state. You may be eligible if you have the required age, occupation, work experience, and English level to apply for this option.
Subclass 190 visa “Skilled Nominated”
This is a permanent visa that requires a nomination by an Australia state or territory.
Subclass 489 visa “Skilled Regional Provisional”
This is a temporary or provisional visa valid for up to 4 years that allows the holder to live in certain areas.
A sponsorship by an Australian relative in a designated area or by a state or territory is required.
Subclass 887 “Skilled Regional”
This visa is the permanent stage for the Skilled Regional Provisional visa.
The applicant must have lived in the specified regional area for two years and must have worked for twelve months in that area.
Subclass 485 “Graduate Temporary”
This is a temporary work visa for international students that have completed an Australian approved qualification (two years of study in Australia).
